Bookings Terms & Conditions
Please take a moment to review our house policies regarding table reservations, dress code, family visits, pet etiquette, and vouchers.
Table Time Allocations
Dining Room & Bar Reservations- 1 ā 3 Guests: Allocated a 1.5 hour time slot.
- 4 ā 7 Guests: Allocated a 2 hour time slot.
- 8+ Guests: Allocated a 2.5 hour time slot.
- Need Longer? If you feel you may require more time for your visit, please let us know in your booking notes or mention it when calling to speak with our team.
Booking Deposits & Cancellations
Groups of 6+ & Special Event Menus- Card Authentication: We may request card details to book and confirm tables of 6 guests or more.
- Late Cancellation & No-Show Fee: A charge of Ā£10 per person applies to bookings that have not been cancelled at least 12 hours prior to the reservation time.
- Special Event Menus: This deposit and cancellation policy also applies to special event dining, including our Festive Party Menu.
Dress Code
Inside & Outside Areas- Relaxed & Welcoming: Whilst we are very relaxed with what we ask you to wear, we do ask that gents' tops have sleeves (no vests).
- Clean Attire: Clothing must be clean (i.e. no workwear).
- Coverage: This policy covers all areas of the pub, both inside and in our outdoor spaces.
Children & Families
Hours, Seating & Facilities- Hours & Licensing: Well-behaved children under 10 years of age are welcome up until 8:00 PM. As part of our premises licence, children must remain seated and be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.
- Highchairs: We have a limited number of highchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis on arrival; requests can be noted during booking.
- Facilities: We do not have dedicated baby changing units, but we do offer a large cubicle in both the male and female toilets.
Dog Policy
Dining Room & Bar Etiquette- Dining Room Welcomed: Small, clean, well-behaved dogs on leads that can curl up on your lap or tuck neatly under the table are welcome in our dining room as well as the main bar and garden.
Gift & Promotional Vouchers
Purchases, Validity & Extensions- Gift Vouchers: All purchased gift vouchers carry 1 year's validity from the date of purchase. We understand that life can sometimes get in the way, so please give us a call on 01372 723222 if you have missed your expiry date by a month or two.
- Promotional Discount Vouchers: From time to time we issue promotional vouchers to our guests. Terms are typically stated on the voucher, but if you have any questions please get in touch with our team.
